The Penobscot River is the most challenging river in Maine and one of the best in the United States. You will experiance more technical rapids, exposed rocks, steeper gradients and awsome whitewater.

The river is set in the shadows of mile high Mt. Katahdin and on the perimeter of Baxter State Park. Eagle, osprey, moose and bear sightings are bot uncommon, while the river abounds with salmon and trout.

Penobscot River Whitewater Rafting Trips:

• Full River Trip - Run the more moderate Lower Section in the morning and the more challenging Upper Gorge in the afternoon, this trip runs every rapid on the river.
